Recently, she co-founded the Romanian fintech start-up Smart Fintech that emerges from the two words: Finance and Technology. The company is set as an innovation lab focusing on delivering open banking solutions based on the PSD2 (soon PSD3) EU Directive and aims to bring value-added services to the Romanian market, related to payments and bank account information. Ana is also involved in the European Initiative Group for legislative proposals to the European Parliament, and she is a board member of the Romanian Fintech Association.
