QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs, implement automation frameworks, and drive efficiency in the testing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated web, mobile, and application test scripts.

• Design and implement test automation frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and reusable.

• Collaborate with developers, manual QA testers, and product teams to identify and prioritize test scenarios.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.

• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.

• Document test strategies, plans, and results to provide visibility to stakeholders.

• Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts as needed.

• Perform code reviews of automated test scripts to ensure best practices.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve testing processes.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in QA automation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.

• Knowledge of SQL and ability to query databases for validation testing.

Soft Skills:

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Experience testing cloud-based applications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications in test automation.

• Familiarity with mobile application testing (iOS/Android).
